There were at least four African American players that played for the Waseca EACO team of 1900-1901. These players helped lead the team to win a state title. George Wilson, the great negro pitcher, played for the Waseca team. He also pitched in the Negro League. Billy Holland pitched for the Waseca teamas well, he was the winningest pitcher on Waseca's roster.Bob Foote protected the EACO's home plate. Bill Joiner is not pictured but played short stop for the EACO team.
