George Ericson (Eugene Iverd): 1893-1936
Ericson was a Wasecan artist whose paintings appeared on the covers of "Saturday Evening Post" and the "Ladies' Home Journal." Iverd was very gifted in capturing childhood innocence on canvas. As an illustrator, he derived his professional name, Eugene Iverd, from his friend, Eugene Groener, and his brother's second name, Iverd. |
