Extra-Curricular/Summer Activities

  • Extra-Curricular Activities:

Student health information that has been provided to the health office/school nurse is not shared with the bus company or coaches/supervisors of extra-curricular activities. For your child’s safety, it is extremely important that parents/guardians meet with their student’s coaches or supervisors to discuss any health concerns regarding their child. This should occur before the start of the activity.

    Summer Activities:

Nursing services are not available during the summer months.  If a student has a health condition or requires health services during summer programming, the parent/guardian must speak directly to the program supervisor to develop the health/emergency plan. The plan that was in effect during the school year will not be shared with summer programming supervisors/teachers.
