Title One

Title I is a federally funded program for grades kindergarten - third at Hartley Elementary in Waseca. This program provides an “extra boost” in the way of individual or small group help in the areas of reading and math. This help is given during the school day by highly qualified paraprofessionals or by Mrs. Deb Krause who is Hartley’s Title 1 teacher.  The Title 1 staff will work in conjunction with your child’s classroom teacher to help reinforce key classroom skills. Entrance into this program is based on test scores as well as teacher recommendation.
