Hartley Elementary Media Center

Welcome to the Hartley Media Center! We have so many fun books to be checked out here in the library!  The possibilities are endless!

Students and staff are excited to spend time in our Hartley Media Center!

Our goal is to make sure that we provide a fun, warm, and welcoming environment! We have a very interactive media center, filled with fiction and nonfiction books, puppets, DVDs, artifacts, and magazines! Students and staff are able to come and check out materials as needed every day! Our media center features a wide variety of fiction and non fiction titles for students of all reading levels. 

Our tiered reading steps offer a quiet, bright spot for individual reading or small group presentations. 

Learning to read is VERY important at Hartley and the majority of our books are Accelerated Reading Materials. During scheduled library classes each week, students are exposed to a variety of library and technology skills that are tied to our school’s curriculum and the MN State Standards.
