• bluejay dance studio NEW name and NEW logo! Bluejay Dance Studio is a youth dance program for girls and boys ages three years through High School. The program is a 9-month program split into a fall and spring session allowing new dancers to try dance without the full year financial commitment. The Fall session wraps up with a mid-year recital in December. For your convenience, we have included the cost for the recital costume and a group photo with the registration fee eliminating the request for these funds later and allowing your instructor plenty of time to find the perfect costume for your dancer.

Recital Costumes: Dancers will be measured at the start of each session so we may order the appropriate size costume for the recital.

Jada LaFrance, Hello! My name is Jada LaFrance. I am originally from Waterville, MN but am going into my second year of study at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I am double majoring in English Education and Music Industry! My personal dance career started at age three under the instruction of (who else) but the lovely Jennifer Thomas, in Waterville, through the Dance Conservatory of Southern Minnesota. Throughout elementary and middle school I spent 10 years dancing through DCSM, then went on to compete for the WEM Pirateer Varsity Dance Team for six years, obtaining the role of captain for my entire high school career. During this time I was named All-Conference twice. Within the MSU Music Department, I also spent part of my last semester choreographing the spring show that myself and several other music students partook in! In my free time I enjoy acting, singing, writing and recording music, performing, and of course - dancing! I am looking forward to a great year of fun, teaching many young dancers!
