  1. Have the student sign out (click the area in the lower right corner,  then click 'sign out') and shut down (lower-left corner, click 'shut down'). Then sign back in and try again.  (This should let any updates apply.)

 

  1. Press refresh (the partial circle with arrow key, 4th from left in the top row of keys) and the power button at the same time. (This is similar to a reboot.) Then have them sign in again and try. (*Attn Grades K & 3:The power button is on the rightside of the device, not part of the keyboard.)
