The postseason stage is set as the #1 seeded Waseca Bluejays (9-0) take on the #3 seeded Luverne Cardinals (8-2) in the Section 3AAA Championship Game on Friday night at New Ulm High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Bluejays advanced to the championship with a dominant 21-0 victory over Tri-City United in last Saturday’s semifinal matchup. Luverne punched their ticket to the title game by pulling off an upset over the #2 seeded Albert Lea Tigers, earning a 13-0 win on Saturday afternoon. Their victories set the stage for what promises to be an exciting Section 3AAA Championship showdown.
Tickets for the game will be available at the gate for $10 (adults) and $5 (students).
Fans unable to attend in person can watch the action live on NSPN.tv for a fee. Stream packages are $12 for a monthly pass and $33 for an annual pass. Please note that these rates could potentially include any state tournament round games that the Bluejays participate in if they are victorious.
