Waseca 8th grader Ellie Kopischke will represent the Bluejays at the 2025 MSHSL State Class AA Cross Country Meet tomorrow, Saturday, November 1, at the Les Bolstad Golf Course on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The Class AA Girls Race will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets at MSHSL.org/tickets, and live results will be available through Wayzata Timing.
Kopischke earned her trip to the state meet with an impressive 10th-place finish at the Section 1AA Championships last Thursday, completing the 5K course in 20:07.1. This marks her second consecutive state tournament appearance, as she was also a member of the Bluejay squad that qualified for the state meet in 2024.

Ellie’s season-best time came at the Big South Conference Meet on October 14, when she clocked a 20:01.0, just shy of her personal record of 19:36.2, set during the 2024 season.
