The Waseca Boys Hockey team opened the postseason Thursday night with a Section 1A Quarterfinal victory over Red Wing, advancing to the Section 1A Semifinals for just the second time in school history.
The #2 seeded Waseca Bluejays Boys Hockey will face the #3 seeded Dodge County Wildcats on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Rochester Recreation Center. The other semifinal matchup will feature Northfield against Rochester Lourdes earlier in the evening.
Fans planning to attend are encouraged to review important ticketing, entry, and seating information in advance. There will be no cash ticket sales at the Rochester Recreation Center. Spectators are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of time or arrive early. Credit and debit cards will be accepted at the gate; however, online purchases will help expedite entry into the arena. Ticket gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and remain open throughout the entire evening. All Section 1A tickets at the Rec Center will be sold through the Rochester Mayo GoFan App and GoFan website.

A new ticket gate entrance plan will be in place for Saturday’s games. Fans should enter the building on either the north end or the south end of the facility using Doors 4 or 7.
Spectator seating will be designated by team. Fans are asked to follow posted signage inside the arena and sit in the section assigned to their school.
