Waseca High School is excited to announce the hiring of Dustin Miller as the next Head Coach of the Waseca High School Girls Soccer program.
Coach Miller brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. With more than 20 years of coaching experience spanning youth soccer, high school athletics, and competitive team leadership, Miller has built a reputation for fostering player growth, implementing strong tactical systems, and creating a positive team culture centered on hard work, accountability, and teamwork.
Miller’s coaching background includes leadership experience coaching competitive teams, serving as a volunteer goalkeeper coach at the high school level, and working extensively in youth soccer development programs in southern Minnesota. Throughout his coaching career, he has emphasized skill development, character building, and creating meaningful relationships with student-athletes.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dustin Miller to the Bluejay family,” said Waseca Activities Director Joe Hedervare. “Dustin brings extensive knowledge of the game, a passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes, and a vision for building a strong program culture. We are excited for the future of Waseca Girls Soccer under his leadership.”
Miller shared his excitement about joining the Waseca community and leading the Bluejay girls soccer program.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Waseca Girls Soccer,” Miller said. “I look forward to working with our student-athletes, building strong relationships within the program, and helping our players grow both as competitors and as young adults. My goal is to create a culture of commitment, teamwork, and pride in representing Waseca. I am also eager to start working with the team.”
