Winter sports registration is now open for the 2026–27 season at Waseca Junior Senior High School. Students planning to participate in a winter sport are encouraged to register early and complete all requirements before the start of their season.
Winter athletic opportunities include Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Hockey, Girls Hockey, Gymnastics, Wrestling, and Winter Sideline Cheer.
Registration Requirements
Registration is completed online through Bound. To participate on the first day of practice, all registration requirements must be completed and submitted by 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the official MSHSL start date for that sport.
Registration requirements include:
Required Waseca Public Schools and MSHSL forms
A current MSHSL Sports Qualifying Physical
Athletic participation fee
Athletic participation fees may be paid online through Bound or submitted by cash or check in the Waseca Junior Senior High School Main Office.
Student-athletes must be fully registered and cleared before they may participate in practices or other team activities. Families are strongly encouraged to complete registration early so there is adequate time to address any outstanding requirements before the season begins.
Cooperative Sports
Waseca is the host school for cooperative agreements in Boys Hockey, Girls Hockey, and Gymnastics. These programs bring together student-athletes from Waseca and participating partner schools.
Students who attend one of Waseca’s partner schools should complete their registration through their home school’s Bound registration portal. Once registered and cleared through their home school, students will be included as part of the appropriate Waseca-hosted cooperative program.
