The Waseca Public Schools firmly believe that athletics and activities play a crucial role in the mental, emotional, physical, and social development of our students. As such, the athletic and activities program is designed to be an integral component of the overall educational experience.

1. Every student, regardless of gender, should have the opportunity to learn basic athletic skills and participate in

   sports.

2. Efforts should be made to achieve and maintain competitive excellence.

3. Participation in athletics is a privilege, not a right.

The mission of the Waseca Junior-Senior High School activities program is to foster qualities such as responsibility, commitment, integrity, and enjoyment through a diverse array of distinguished programs.
