We will start with a pancake breakfast, a silent auction, and a kids' carnival at WIS at 9:00 am. We'll end at 11:00 am so that everyone can get to the state championship football game if they'd like to. Our Bluejays kick off at 1:00 pm.
The evening will feature Flannels and Fizz Adult Night: food, silent auction, games, live auction, and a live band at Starfire Event Center. We'll push back doors opening to 6:30 pm, again to allow fans to welcome home the student athletes from the game.
The timing is excellent for Bluejays to have breakfast at WIS, head to The Bank for the football game, then to make it back in time for the evening portion, don't you think?!
It will be a great day to be a Bluejay!

We will record the first session on Thursday, November 20, at 4:00 in the Board room at the Central Building, and the public is welcome to attend. However, since we know there is no perfect time for everyone, each session will be filmed and posted on our website so that all will have access. We look forward to this continued discussion about the state of school funding in Minnesota.

Thank you to everyone who completed the recent communication survey. We truly value your feedback. Hearing directly from our community helps us recognize what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve. A common message in the responses was that communication has many strengths and is generally timely, but there is always room to make things clearer and more consistent.
Based on the feedback, we are taking several next steps. Our district newsletter link is included below and will be a quarterly feature, providing a reliable place to find highlights of district activities. Respondents also shared that the website can be difficult to navigate, so we will be working in the coming weeks to improve the layout, make key information easier to locate, and enhance the search function. In addition, several stakeholders requested more consistent social media posts and updates directly from schools and programs. To address this, we are implementing processes to enhance our social media presence and ensure timely, school-level messaging.
We also recognize that information coming from multiple sources can feel overwhelming or disconnected. As we move forward, our goal is to better align communication across schools, the district, and social media to create a clearer, more user-friendly experience for families. Thank you again for sharing your voice. Your feedback helps us continue to strengthen communication and serve our students and community well.
